Police are seeking a suspect in a Friday burglary they consider armed and dangerous.

At 7:45 p.m. Friday, a man identified as William James Chase of Kurtistown went to a home on Uau Road in Kurtistown and reportedly brandished a firearm at the 19-year-old male acquaintance who answered the door. He then reportedly forced his way into the house and threatened a 44-year-old woman, a teenage boy and a teenage girl with the weapon and then left in a gray Toyota pickup truck, license number KAX 877.

Chase is described as 5-foot-8, 200 pounds with short gray balding hair. He may have a mustache and beard.

Members of the public are cautioned not to approach him, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Police released a public bulletin about Chase on Saturday, but have not yet apprehended him.
